I think it is essential also for general public to have an idea what is behind each product that is available in the shops, how much energy designers and manufactures have to put in the project to bring it successfully to the market. I have to make a note that following process could take 3-9 month from first sketch until you see the product on the shelves. You would be very lucky if you could make this in 3 months :-) by Martin Žampach On a personal note I completely agree sympathise with this, people generally have no idea what a designer has to compete with.. the sometimes frustrating but necessary R&D that we go through, hate it at the time but certainly worth it to see the outcome.. also these workshop photos make me miss times slaving away on developments.. I need to get back in to some workshops!
